Rotary Club meetings are private events and are
not open to the public. For someone to attend these meetings, they must be
sponsored as a "guest of a Rotarian". Our meetings are conducted in English.

Breaking Stones'.
- Speaker: Scott Lang, the Vice Consul at the
US Consulate General In Montreal and a former Rotary Peace Fellow at the University Of
Bradford in England. In 1999 Scott founded a NGO called The Post-Conflict Foundation to develop youth leaders from the Balkans.
- Speaker: Jean Trudel, the award winning producer/director who has produced many "Docu-Variety Specials" for television and created
Cercle de Paix - Circle of Peace, a Canadian NGO promoting the IDP and UNESCO's "Decade for a Culture of Peace and Non Violence for
the Children of the World"

- Luncheon, 12:30pm. Rotary Club of Montreal Velan Foundation Award ($20,000) to MUHC Doctors teaching physicians in Ethiopia

MUHC spoke about the use of "My Toolbox" where the public can learn how to use the medical system for their care.

- Major Okill Stuart spoke about his experiences when he took part in the Juno Beach landings on June 6, 1944 in Normandy, France

Fondation Ekuus, a non-profit charity that started in May 2008, the purpose of which is to help
young sexual abuse victims; Speaker 2: Rick Sala, President of the Board of
